Christmas at Kew

This week feeling VERY festive and needing a study break I ventured into London, to visit Christmas at Kew. Kew Gardens have transformed their beautiful grounds, into a fairy tale Christmas kaleidoscope. With over one million lights, props, giant flower pots and a North Pole Village the whole evening was fantastic. As you walk around, there are various pit stops with toasted marshmallows,  mulled wine, roasted chestnuts, churros and other delicious Christmas delights. All the light displays were different from one another assisted with complemented musical themes, and the creativity behind them was exception. As you can see this first photo, the Christmas tree is composed of sleighs!

The gardens also had a fairground for kids, and a live panto style show. I could not recommend enough visiting Kew at Christmas, but do wrap up warm. The whole experience took us over two hours, and was worth every penny. If you fancy a trip to Christmas light paradise book your tickets here.
