Foodies Festival - Alexandra Palace

Saturday was incredibly sunny, so where best for a food lover to visit but Foodies Festival. Foodies Festival is fantastic for a day out for anyone with a love of food of any age. You will find a rich selection of cuisines from different countries, and new and existing brands. From pasta, meats and olives to the cutest looking cakes and brownies imaginable there is definitely something to discover for everyone.

The highlight of the day for me was the great selection of live music on offer. Taking a picnic blanket, indulging in all the food on offer whilst listening to fresh singers and bands made this day feel pretty special. There are cooking and cocktail making demonstrations on offer, which are all free to watch if you register early in the morning. A delicious selection of drinks are also on offer such as the ever popular Pimms tent. There are many free samples to try on the day, which is great if your wanting to try some new food products before you buy. If you're like me however and enjoy most food, take some cash because I can guarantee you will spend it!

As you can see from my last photo, there are also fun, interactive activities to take part in throughout the day . Boursin cheese were at the show, with a 4D experience, which should not be missed. I won't give away what that involves in case you visit, but the photo is a big clue.

The Foodies Festival is all across London this summer, so don't miss out.

Melanie :)
